I have not been watching nor reading the news for days already. I was surprised to see on Yahoo News a post on Senator Panfilo Lacson’s priviledge speech in the senate against former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada.
In that speech, the senator enumerated all the anomalies and crimes President Estrada did even before he became the President of the Philippines; Senator Lacson even said “God save the Philippines from Joseph Estrada.”
Who would have thought that these close allies will turn their backs on one another and become bitter foes?
I just realized that in Philippine Politics: there are no permanent friends and permanent enemies only common interest.
