While waiting at the Department of Health-MIS Office last Tuesday, I saw the DOH calendar listing down the National Health Event for November. Since, I was so bored waiting for my computer to be fixed (here's the link to the post ), I copied the dates with the corresponding health event being celebrated on the day.
November is Cancer Pain Awareness Month, Malaria Awareness Month, Traditional and Alternative Care Month
The other health events for November are:
November 2-6 Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Week
2nd Week National Skin Detection and Prevention Week
November 7 National Food Fortification Day
November 14 World Diabetes Day
November 16-20 Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week
November 23-29 Population and Development Work
