I can finally breath a sigh of relief! After not having any contact with Boyet for the past three days, I was able to talk to him on the phone a few minutes ago.
Last Saturday,he went to Cainta to get his mobile phone from his friend at the height of the storm. He was not able to go home to Marikina anymore because the water started to rise. He was stranded in Cainta for three days.
He was not able to contact his family and me because his cellphone got wet in the flood and the phone lines in the area got cut.
I was very anxious the past few days, worrying about what happened to him already.
I'm grateful that he was able to go home this afternoon.
