You’re very professional!”
Those were the words uttered to me by one of my clients this morning. This man was a pilot by profession and for him to notice the service I gave him considering that I’m just doing my work really feels wonderful.
I feel light after hearing those words from him, and it came at the proper time because I’ve been feeling low since yesterday because of some work related issues. His affirmation lift up my spirit that I know this wonderful vibe will stay with me throughout the day.
The power of word does wonder to a tired soul. I just realized that if those three words does magic for me then I can used that same magic on others. If I can just see the positive thing about others and gave an honest compliment for them then I can give them the same effect the man had done for me.
I must be conscious with my words so that I can build up and encourage others as well. As it was written in the Holy Book “Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them,”-Ephesians 4:29.
Let us be mindful of the power of words.

hi Joy.. happy to hear that.. yes, i agree with u.. and it is always great to encourage one another and be encouraged too..it brightens up our days..a kind word or 2 wont cost anything and it really helps a lot to the other person...

Totally agree, you know if you hear nice words of compliments,it will really lift your spirit up. Even just a simple tap from the shoulder telling your subordinates "good job" it does really matter in terms of work and environment.
