Declared Holidays for November in the Philippines

Here’s the list of the official holidays for November. I know a lot of us in the work force are looking forward to these dates, for our long weekend rest.

November 1 and November 2 ( Monday) – are special non working holidays in observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’Day, to give more time for Filipinos to visit and pay respect at the graves of their dead loved ones specially for those who will go to the provinces.

November 27 (Friday) and November 28 ( for those who have work on Saturday), in celebration of Eid’l Adha or the Feast of the Sacrifice, which signifies the end of the Islamic world’s Hariraya Hajj or the pilgrimage to Mecca (the holiest place for the Muslims).

These celebrations were used to be regional holidays in the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) but this year, the President has declared this holiday to be observed all throughout the country.

November 30 (Monday) –a regular holiday, in observance of Andres Bonifacio Day.

I’m looking forward to these dates.
