Non-Working Holidays for September and The Amazing Race

After the long weekend break last week, I realized that the next non-working holidays will be on November 1 and 30; I still have to wait for two months for those break from work.

I was suprised when in the evening news last night it was announced that President Gloria Arroyo declared September 7 and 21 as non-working holidays.

September 7, 2009 was declared a holiday to pay respect to the late Iglesia ni Kristo leader Erano Manalo while September 21, 2009 in observance of Eid il Fitr, the end of the Ramadan season for the Muslims.

The long break will afford more time to rest, to blog and to bloghop.

While watching the UAAP Basketball Games in Studio 23, I saw their ads on the new season of:

one of my favorite television shows.

"The Amazing Race or simply TAR," started back in 2001, it's a show with a team of two members racing around the globe, there is a pit stop at each leg of the race , the team that came last at the pit stop will either be eliminated or be penalized, the winner of the race will get one million dollars.

I really loved to join TAR, not only for the money but to see the different countries around the world.

TAR will be aired at Studio 23, starting this Monday, September 7, 2009 at 8:00 in the evening.
