Update!

This is only my second post for the month. I wished I could write more, dropped entrecards more often and bloghop to my favorite sites. But sadly, I don't have the time and energy to do so.
I am grateful to all who dropped their entrecards here despite my inability to drop my cards to their sites and I'm most appreciative to all those who remembered to pray for my dear father
Last Monday, I went with my dad to the hospital for his check-up with his nephrologist. His creatinine level is still elevated but his doctor, again gave him another week and have another different dosage for his medicines. Hopefully, the change in the doses will make the creatinine level normal. But if it is still not within the range the doctor is looking for he (papa) had to be admitted and have the biopsy for his kidney.
So, it has been an anxious filled week for me and the rest of the family. By Friday, my father will have another test on his creatinine and by Saturday we will know already whether he will be confined to the hospital or not. Biopsy here in the country is a procedure that cannot be done on an outpatient basis unlike in the United States.
But, I and the rest of the family is really praying hard that there is nothing wrong with the kidney given by my brother to our father. I'm really waiting for an answered prayer this Saturday. So please, pray for my father's health condition.

Prayer Request

My father had undergone kidney tranplantation two years ago. In his latest laboratory exams his creatinine level is a little bit above what is the normal value. Despite the adjustments in the medications he was taking, the result was still abnormal.
Creatinine level in our blood, reflects the condition of our kidneys, whether they are functioning well or not.
He visited his nephrologist today, and his physician told him that the drugs will be adjusted again and another round of laboratory exams are scheduled this coming Friday. If the result is still not good, a request for kidney biopsy is needed to check if his body is rejecting the kidney.
Hope, my father's creatinine level will be okay already and that there is no need for a biopsy anymore; please say a prayer for him.
Thank you.
