Join Earth Hour on Saturday!

It’s earth hour on Saturday, March 28,2009.

Please join me and other people across the globe in observance of earth hour. Please turn of all the lights and other electrical appliances for just an hour on Saturday, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Earth hour is our response to the climate change that is occurring in our time right now. Let us unite even just for an hour to create awareness about climate change. The switching of our lights is a call for action for all the world leaders to address the issue of climate change. It is also a reminder to all of us that we need to do our part in saving our planet; like: turning off lights not in use, to recycle, to practice waste segregation and other stuffs we can practice to prevent the abuse of our world.

Earth hour was launched in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and the Philippines is the first Southeast Asian Nation to pledge its support for earth hour.

Last year’s earth hour got the support of 50 to 100 million people in the world; this year it aims to have one billion people joining this community event.

New Zealand will be the first country to put off their lights on Saturday followed by other countries throughout the world as their own time zone reach 8:30 pm.

Paris, “ the city of lights, “ in France will turn off the lights on their famous Eiffel Tower and the citizens of Athens in Greece will gather at the Acropolis to watch the lights go out on Saturday. The United States, Russia, China and India are some of the countries participating this Saturday.

So please, join this year’s earth hour on Saturday. For more information about this project please check this site. My Sunday Morning

I woke up at five thirty last Sunday, too early for my usual Sunday schedule





I was up that early because Boyet and I went to Marikina Sports Complex to jog. I ran and walked aroung the oval course for forty-five minutes and enjoyed the early morning sun and the opportunity to exercise.





Maybe, we can go back again there next Sunday and play either table tennis or lawn tennis. Boyet said he'll teach me how to play lawn tennis.



After our exercise, we had breakfast at a Mc Donald's outlet just across the sports complex. Boyet had a big breakfast while I had sausage and egg mc muffin and a cup of hot chocolate. Yum...yum...yum...

After breakfast, we went to Boyet's house at Greenheights and took Beauty, Boyet's ten months old labrador for a walk.

The last time I saw her she was just a month old. She had grown very big and strong over the months. She can pull me in the direction she wants to go by tugging her leash. I just love this dog, all she wants to do is to play, run and wade into a basin of water to cool herself off. She had a grand time playing outside the hourse.

I had a wonderful time last Sunday, the only thing I regret is not being able to bring my camera to chronicle the event.

Last week, while I was preparing for work, I heard this question from the host of the morning radio show I regularly listen to,”Why can angels fly?”

And this is the answer the host gave:

Angels can fly not only because they have wings but because they do not have worries, anxieties, fears and other negative emotions because their whole being is focus on God.

We can soar above life’s trials and become victors in life if we will put our trust in God and listen and obey His will for our lives..

My Favorite Cologne

I prefer to spray on cologne instead of perfume to smell good everyday. I like the light, sweet, fresh smell of colognes.

But I wear perfume for special occasions. I feel extra beautiful when I put on my favorite perfume.

I often change the brand of my cologne because I feel that with me constantly smelling the cologne I am using, after sometime I get immune to the scent that I feel I’m not wearing any cologne anymore.

I have tried countless brands of cologne but I have to say that my favorite would have to be that of Avon’s Heaven Scent Citrus Burst Cologne.

I like the sweet, fruity scent of this cologne, perfect for everyday use.

But still I’m on a lookout for other wonderful scent that I haven’t tried just yet, perhaps I can look for it at scent.net

What happened to my page rank?

What happened to my page rank?

I have not been posting any article for a week now because I got disappointed with my page rank. My page rank dropped from pr 3 to 0.

I was surprised by what happened to my ranking, the dropped made me unable to grab any opportunity from pay per post.

I was trying for days figuring out what I must have done that resulted in my drop. I check google and search for my blog, when I typed in my blog url, five other blogs came in first before mine. And then I search yahoo, I was relieve a little because in their web search my blog came in with the titles of my blog post.

I was not in the mood for days to blog as a result of the page rank. I was thinking of all the effort exerted and time I spent just to improve my rank.

I remembered that Shy, a fellow blogger posted something about the drop in her page rank, I check her post and the comments made on that blog , thinking that people may have some helpful thoughts about it. But sad to say, they do not have any idea about what happened to her page rank as well.

But I am not one who will just accept what happened and do nothing about the situation.
I tried searching the web , typing out in the search box, “why did my page rank dropped?”

All pointed out that, google lowers down the rank of those sites who illegally do things just to improve their ranking like buying links from other websites.

I never did anything illegal for my site.

Last Friday, I logged in to my google account, and I saw a link for the google webmaster diagnostics. I tried it out and went I typed in my url, it pointed out that my site map has an error that occurred last February 27. I then resubmit my url.

I really hope that with the resubmission of my blog url, I get to have my page rank of 3 again.

To Shy, if this web diagnostics work for my blog, I will definitely help you get your page rank back again.

But if it does not work that well, I am prepared to work my way up again.

February Wrap Up

It's the second day of March already. Wow! We're entering the last month of the first quarter of the year, time sure fly so fast.

February is my favorite month because aside from Valentine's Day, it is of course my birth month.

My30th Birthday was a big day for me. I'm entering a new decade in my life. I'm ecstatic with the new phase I am in. I feel that with this new stage, a lot of wonderful opportunities are going to open for me. And I made a promise to myself that I'm going to be more healthy and fit now that I'm 30.

I feel super bless to have my family and Boyet with me to celebrate this special day.

Seven days after my birthday is Valentine's Day. Boyet did not fail to give me my bouquet of flowers. Eversince we started our relationship, he made a promise that he's going to give me flowers every Valentine's Day and I love him more because he keeps his word.

I bid my favorite month goodbye as I look forward to what March has to offer. I know that March will be a happy and a blessed month too.
